THE ROLE
Carwow - Sell My Car is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transport Network Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of our vehicle transport network. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless movement of vehicles from sellers to dealers across the UK, Germany, and Spain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and experience in building and managing transport networks.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Network Design: Support design and development of a robust transport network that efficiently moves vehicles across the UK, Germany, and Spain.
Route Optimisation: Analyse and optimise route planning to ensure cost-effectiveness, speed, and reliability.
Supplier Coordination: Work closely with transport companies and logistics partners to ensure operational excellence, resolve any issues, and maintain high service levels.
Data Analysis: Utilise data analytics to monitor performance, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the transport network, and support the implementation of solutions.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on performance, including KPIs related to efficiency, cost, and service levels.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum of 5 years in logistics, with a focus on network design and optimisation, preferably in the automotive industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in transport management systems, route planning software, and data analysis tools.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in network design and optimisation efforts.
