Job Description As a trainee in our UX/UI Design team in Ovar you will be part of a talented, motivated and cross-functional team responsible for conceptualizing and assisting in the development and implementation of design concepts for web, mobile and desktop user interfaces of different products.
You will work closely with senior designers and assist the team with:
Research for new solutions, technologies, methodologies, processes, tools.
Translate research insights into user flows, storyboards, personas and user scenarios.
Support the team with concept and prototyping (LoFi and HiFi).
Assist in planning and help in usability tests.
Prepare visual designs, and graphical user interface design elements, create technical specifications and design documentation.
Optimize existing user interface designs by identifying and resolving usability or accessibility issues.
Strive for intuitive and user-centred solutions.
Establish and promote best practices and standards within the team.
Adhere to style guides and internal company standards.
Qualifications What distinguishes you:
Knowledge and application of standards (Design Principles and Usability Heuristics) as well as User Interface Patterns and Interaction Design best practices.
Knowledge of user interface design patterns and guidelines for web applications and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
Foundational knowledge of UX process and design thinking.
Knowledge of User-Centered Design Methods.
Strong graphic design skills with good understanding of typography, color, layout.
Strong skills in Figma: Libraries, Variables, Prototyping, Design systems, Auto-layout.
Ability to create design systems and maintain design consistency across various platforms.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and frontend basics to facilitate the communication between the product teams.
