The studio specializes in the creation of cutting-edge video games for PC and Console, leveraging our exceptional open-world technology wherever possible. SABER PORTO is seeking a TOOLS DEVELOPER to join our team.
Responsibilities: Upgrade and maintain the studio-wide toolset used across all projects, as well as all project-specific tools features required to aid the development of each project.
Help to identify and develop new features, tools, and any additional work required in order to support the studio's growth.
Help to add and maintain features in the studio's hub tool.
Help to add tools and features into Unreal Editor.
Collaborate with the engineering, art, and production teams.
Requirements: Strong knowledge and understanding of tools pipelines, including working with and adapting to new cutting-edge software and technology.
Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Clear communication and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new programming languages and paradigms.
Ability to own and manage large portions of a codebase.
Proficient in the use of modern IDEs.
Thorough experience with creating and maintaining a platform of tools for a company.
Good To Have: Experience in the video games industry (preferable a shipped title).
Good knowledge & experience with C++.
Experience working within an agile development environment.
Experience with major AAA engines such as Unreal/Unity/idTech.
