It includes but is not limited to: setting the objectives, schedule, deliverables, test environment set up, and resource allocation.Managing the team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress.
Providing guidance, support, and training to the team members.Overseeing the execution of test cases, ensuring that the testing process follows the test plan and that the team addresses issues promptly.
Provide regular updates to clients and management.Consolidating and analyzing findings and preparing comprehensive test reports.
These reports highlight the defects found, their severity, and the overall quality of the software application.Establishing expected quality assurance standards and communicating them to the team.
Assessing the effectiveness of the testing process, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance the quality and efficiency of the testing activities.Tracking and managing defects using a defect tracking system.
