If you consider yourself a passionate engineer looking to kick-start your career in test engineering and contribute to cutting-edge technologies, then join us in Porto!Job Description In this role you will be able to take a unique opportunity to participate in a comprehensive 3-month training assignment located in Germany to gain invaluable hands-on experience and knowledge of various test systems while actively contributing to exciting production processes. Upon completion of the program, you will play a key role in the realization of a high-volume production line at our state-of-the-art facility in Porto.In your new role you will: Participate in the planning and commissioning of test systems for the serial testing of the Chipcard product group Ensure the process stability of the test and handling systems in production Plan and implement productivity measures (e.G. automation, reduction of test times, yield improvement, capacity expansion) within the scope of projects, and partially taking over project management Do systematic troubleshooting and development of corrective actions, as well as their evaluation together with internal support departments Work on the validation, implementation, and release of test programs Create and maintain process-specific documentation Do regular verification and documentation of the capability evidence of all testing and measuring equipment Your Profile You are an energetic, goal-oriented person who remains focused on quality, even when under pressure. You enjoy continuously improving your process and optimizing it in terms of quality and productivity. You identify, understand, and analyze the causes of quality defects and proactively derive effective solutions. You systematically assess risks and take appropriate measures to sustainably eliminate them. Moreover, you communicate clearly and efficiently, cooperating as a team player thus establishing good relationships and contributing to a great team environment.You are best equipped for this task if you have:A University degree in a scientific or technical field such as electrical, mechatronics/automation engineering, or related fields Basic knowledge in process engineering, as well as some knowledge in the operation of special electrical test equipment in production Ideally, initial professional experience in the electric/electronic industry or in research and development Proficiency in applying problem-solving strategies and statistical methods for systematic troubleshooting – Six Sigma certification is a plus Strong team player attitude with the ability to work on an international level Willingness to be internationally mobile and to work in an intercultural environment Fluency in English (mandatory).
