DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:
As a Test Automation Engineer at Top Sigma, you will:
Develop and maintain robust and scalable test automation scripts using Java, ensuring high-quality software releases.
Build, manage, and execute automated test suites for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.
Utilize Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) to create and maintain efficient test scenarios.
Apply various testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit and Maven to optimize test processes.
Conduct API testing using Rest Assured and Postman, ensuring comprehensive coverage of backend services.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
Perform exploratory testing to identify defects and provide feedback for areas of improvement in the product.
Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Apply ISTQB principles to all testing procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong proficiency in Java for test automation script development.
Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
Familiarity with Cucumber for BDD and test scenario creation.
Experience with testing frameworks and build tools such as JUnit and Maven.
Hands-on experience with Rest Assured and Postman for API testing.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Jenkins.
Strong exploratory testing skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
Proficiency in applying ISTQB principles to testing practices.
Familiarity with Selenide for enhanced UI test automation capabilities.
