Test Automation Engineer

Randstad is hiring a Test Automation Engineer for direct integration in a company located in Braga.Hybrid work (3 days remote, 2 days on-site/week).This professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated testing strategies to validate the functionality and performance of the applications. They will ensure quality control and automation of their technologies.This professional will be the only QA in this team, but there are other QAs in the other development teams. The team consists of Developers, Data Scientists, a Product Owner, and a Tech Lead.Responsabilidades Chave- Work with the development team to understand the AI applications.- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of Generative AI applications.- Collaborate with teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and areas for improvement in AI models and applications.- Collaborate with developers and data scientists to understand the AI algorithms and their impact on application behavior.- Utilize a trial-and-error approach to refine and improve testing strategies for AI applications.- Explore and implement approaches to automate quality control processes.- Apply automated testing methodologies based on feedback and evolving project requirements.- Create and maintain documentation for automated test scripts, test plans, and test cases.Competências- More than 2 years of experience in test automation frameworks (mandatory requirement).- Experience in testing APIs and UI.- Experience with Cypress is valued (but not mandatory, open to others).- Experience with programming in Python, Java, or C# is valued.- Familiarity with testing AI applications or interest.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).- Experience/knowledge in GitHub is valued.- Experience with integration of automated testing into development workflows.- Team player with good communication skills.- Good communication skills in English (intermediate is a mandatory requirement).Principais Benefícios- Direct contract, food allowance, annual bonus, 25 days of vacation, health insurance, traveling allowance for candidates that live more than 30kms from the office, flexibility of work hours, learning platforms, training, and certifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
