See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Position Overview:As part of the talented HR, Environment & Health and Safety team, you will support the development and implementation of the organization's environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that the facility is in compliance with regulations.At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions:Support in the supervision of the activities related to the safety of the work, to ensure conditions that eliminate or reduce to a minimum the risks of accidents at work, observing compliance with all relevant legislation.Coordinate and develop the activities arising from the implementation of environmental legislation through Environmental Permitting and Inspection Source Pollution and environmental degradation.Promote workplace inspections, identifying hazardous conditions by taking all necessary steps to eliminate risk situations.Prepare and deliver training programs on workplace safety, including awareness programs and dissemination of safety standards, aiming at the development of a preventive attitude in employees regarding job security.Determine the use by workers of personal protective equipment (PPE).Collaborate on projects of building modifications or new installations of the company, aiming to create safer conditions at work.Search and analyze the causes of occupational diseases and environmental conditions in which they occurred, taking the steps required by law to prevent its recurrence, and remedy the unsanitary conditions that cause these diseases.Raise and study statistics of occupational accidents, occupational diseases and work, analyzing its causes and severity, in order to adopt preventive measures.Attend to emergencies involving environmental accidents and perform audits to ensure compliance with all environment laws and regulations.Identification and characterization of pollution sources, conducting sampling for assessment the quality of the environment and emissions pollution sources, interpretation of environmental data and preparation of technical reports.Required Qualifications:Portuguese Health and Safety certification, being the minimum accepted of H&S Technician grade IV.Data entry skills for order processing/distribution systems are required.Knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel are required.Preferred Qualifications:1-2 years EHS experience will be an asset.English knowledge and ability to present H&S data and reports and write emails is valued.Why Brunswick:Whatever tomorrow brings, we'll be at the leading edge.
