Join us in shaping the future of real estate.We are currently looking for a new member for the Shopping Centre Management team to join us in the position of Technician, Operations - CC Continente Portimão & Albufeira Terrace.Requirements:Degree or Technical Training in Engineering, Management or Economics (preferential)Previous experience supporting operations and maintenance in a similar area of business would be a plusFluent in English (at least B2 level is mandatory)Proficient in MS OfficeStrong communication and negotiation skillsGood problem-solving abilityCustomer oriented, team worker, reliable and organisedAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneouslyDriver's license and ability to travelResponsibilities:Support the coordination, supervision, and oversight of the daily operations of CC Continente Portimão and Albufeira Terrace, namely safety and security, cleaning, gardening, and maintenance teams, installation and maintenance of equipment, setting priorities for action, and ensuring the proper deployment of technical and human resources;Participate in the definition, preparation, and management of action/investment plans;Coordinate the collaboration contacts between the Shopping Centre and the official entities (e.g. fire Brigade, police), in order to assure that all the operations are running in accordance with the established safety & security standards;Manage and negotiate contracts with service providers;Coordinate the assessment and approval of construction projects presented by the shopkeepers;Prepare and submit all the report information for both Owner and Management, as well as monitor the execution of the budget of common expenses for the Technical area;Produce event reports (technical maintenance, intervention in repairs, energy consumption, and machine registries) in order to examine the business's progress, detect deviations, and take or suggest corrective measures.At Sonae Sierra, we are committed to creating a workplace that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
