We are currently looking for a new member for the SSC - Treasury team to join us in the position of Technician, Accounting. Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Maia Requirements: Degree in Accounting or Management (preferential) Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Auditing areas Previous experience with accounting operations outside Portugal is an advantage Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (mandatory) and SAP knowledge would be a plus Analytical thinking and high level of accuracy Proactive and reliable person Fluency in English (mandatory) Responsibilities: Ensure the monthly & quarterly closing accounts of Sonae Sierra's holding and service companies in the Netherlands Prepare and control accruals and deferrals; Process and book invoices and insure control of Sierra procedures Analyze the balance sheet; Prepare the consolidation of financial statements and analyze any differences in the consolidation process; Produce interim accounts to support funds distributions; Work under IFRS andlocal GAAP; Gather and prepare tax obligations; Reporting to the business and clients; Provide informationto internal and external entities.
