We are looking for a talented Technical Writer | Grants | Healthtech & Bio [Part-time/ Fractional] to join iLoF's mission in revolutionizing healthcare through advanced AI and Photonics.
This role is crucial as it will play a pivotal role in ensuring clear and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders, including assisting in the preparation of funding proposals that will drive our groundbreaking research and development in personalized medicine and drug discovery. As a Technical Writer | Grants, you will be responsible for crafting compelling grant proposals that align with iLoF's innovative vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that we secure grants from prestigious funding bodies worldwide.

Responsibilities:
Write and edit high-quality, persuasive grant proposals tailored to various funding agencies, including national and international bodies like the European Union and Horizon Europe.
Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, finance, etc.) to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy and compliance of each proposal.
Maintain a detailed knowledge of funding sources relevant to our industry and track submission deadlines.
Ensure adherence to all grant application guidelines and compliance with eligibility criteria and funder requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience in grant and proposal writing: Demonstrated success in securing grants, especially in healthcare, technology, deep tech, or innovation sectors.
Strong research skills: Ability to research and identify relevant grant opportunities and funding agencies.
Excellent writing and editing skills: Ability to craft compelling and concise grant proposals, tailored to different audiences.
Knowledge of funding sources: Familiarity with national and international agencies, particularly within the European Union, Horizon Europe, and other relevant innovation grants.
Sector knowledge: Understanding of healthcare, medical, and technology fields relevant to iLoF's mission in advanced therapeutics and diagnostics.
Collaboration skills: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail: Meticulously follow guidelines to ensure compliance with requirements.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related fields (PhD is a plus, but not mandatory).
3+ years of experience in grant writing, especially in the healthtech or innovation sectors (industry experience is a plus, but not mandatory).
Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment is a plus.
Familiarity with Horizon Europe and other international grant frameworks is highly desirable.
