We are currently seeking an Automotive Engineer to be based in the area of Braga, specifically covering the North Portugal and Galicia region.Our client provides a diverse array of engineering services to the automotive industry, offering support to OEMs and tier 1 suppliers.As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will focus mainly on operations and sales, with the primary objective of strengthening the company's market presence and delivering exceptional service quality.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with key clients, focusing on engineering, technical resourcing, and consulting solutions.Your role will be crucial in solidifying the company's reputation as a trusted partner by delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction while also identifying growth opportunities.You'll work together with the operations team to ensure successful service delivery as part of your project management responsibilities.Your role will involve swiftly addressing and resolving any service-related issues that arise, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.Additionally, you'll contribute to the financial aspects of account management, which includes tasks such as invoicing and budget tracking.Act as the primary point of contact for strategic automotive accounts.Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.Conduct regular on-site visits to gain firsthand understanding of clients' operational challenges.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.Collaborate with the Country Manager to develop and implement strategic account plans.Create tailored technical and commercial proposals to support business expansion.Lead contract negotiations, working with internal teams to develop compelling offers.Requirements:3-5 years of relevant automotive industry experience, preferably in quality, process, or project management.Strong operational background in the automotive sector, including knowledge of manufacturing processes, APQP, and product launch activities.Ability to engage effectively with clients on the shop floor and translate insights into tailored solutions.Technical degree in Engineering or a related field.Fluency in English.Possibility of home office.This role requires a blend of technical expertise, client relationship management skills, and business acumen to drive growth and maintain our client´s position as a trusted partner in the automotive industry.
