At OutSystems (Contractor), in Portugal Expires at: 2024-11-19 Remote policy: Full remote Expected time: 6 months Location: Remote About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support our Compliance Operating Model.
In this role, you will work closely with our Security Office, Legal, Product Architecture, Product Management, and Engineering teams focused on platform compliance and standard security certifications to ensure the successful management and delivery of initiatives.
As a key leader in our compliance operating model, you will navigate complex requirements, mitigate risks, and drive alignment across stakeholders, ensuring we meet certification requirements, keep our product secure, and align with regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities: 1.
End-to-End Program Management Take ownership of compliance-related programs from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.
Develop program plans, manage milestones, and establish clear timelines and ownership (DRIs) for all activities.
Manage and mitigate program risks (ROAM), documenting impacts, responsibilities, mitigation strategies, and due dates.

Supporting Leaders and Stakeholders Support cross-functional managers and leaders by providing program management for compliance initiatives and value milestones, ensuring they are met effectively and on time.
Provide clear, data-driven program updates to stakeholders, executives, and teams to enhance visibility and decision-making.

Compliance Operating Model Assist in creating a comprehensive list of controls, abstracted from specific certifications, to maximize the chances of certification success and maintain product security in coordination with the Security Office.
Support the Product Architecture team in defining the architecture strategy to address current gaps, ensuring alignment with compliance controls, and evolving the ODC Platform.
This includes facilitating architectural initiatives and incorporating them into the product roadmap.
Collaborate with the Security Office to define the audit calendar, ensuring all compliance activities are scheduled and accounted for.
Main requirements Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of experience as a T echnical Program Manager , ideally with a focus on compliance, legal, or security certifications .
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (Proficient English), with a proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development processes, including software architecture, development methodologies, and best practices.
Ability to engage with engineering teams, understand technical challenges, and contribute to technical discussions.
Compliance Knowledge: Experience working with compliance frameworks.
Understanding security certifications and regulatory obligations is a plus.
Risk Management: Proficient in risk management, and experienced in handling complex, cross-functional programs.
Tools & Methodologies: Familiarity with industry-standard project/program management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Google Sheets/Slides, etc) and practices.
Flexibility & Autonomy: Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving compliance requirements while driving results and keeping stakeholders aligned.
