The Work You'll Do: The primary focus of this role is to provide technical expertise and support to the Sovos's Professional Services Team and clients during the implementation of Sovos software products. This position plays a critical role in assisting both Solution Consultants and clients with tasks that require technical analysis, custom development and data analysis.Key responsibilities include resolving complex client technical issues by leveraging deep product and technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the Technical Consultant II will implement and develop custom components essential to each project, such as custom data mappings and PDF layouts.This role also contributes to the smooth transition of client implementations from the project phase to production support, ensuring that all technical components of the solution are stable, aligned with client requirements, and configured according to Company best practices. More specifically, you will: Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for clients and internal teams, addressing complex issues using in-depth product knowledge and analytical skills. Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues between source systems (e.G., ERP, CRM, POS) and Sovos platforms, whether on-premises or cloud-based, ensuring seamless integration and data flow. Lead the implementation of technical components for client projects, including developing custom data mappings, configuring integrations, and designing custom layouts (e.G., PDF templates) tailored to client specifications. Conduct detailed data and integration analysis to support seamless data flows and system integration, ensuring compatibility with client environments and Sovos products. Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables, offering technical guidance and support as needed. Facilitate smooth client transitions from the implementation phase to production support, ensuring all technical components meet both client needs and Sovos standards for stability and performance
