This is a co-founder role and will require a lot of "sweat equity" along with a baseline salary. Applicants located in Lisbon, Portugal are preferred to help facilitate in-person meeting and planning sessions, but the role is largely remote. Applicants from other geographies will be considered. About You Are you a full-stack software developer, data scientist, machine learning engineer, or DevOps engineer with excellent programming skills, strong problem-solving abilities, a leadership track record, and a passion for developing tech solutions using cutting-edge technologies? Have you done or managed software quality assurance efforts in a company previously or have strong opinions about QA? Have you spent your career building game-changing software/hardware? Most importantly, are you looking to build a disruptive tech venture using AI? What you'll do Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy to align with our business goals. Build and lead a talented team of engineers and developers. Create and maintain the processes of technical development, including CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance. Oversee the development and management of innovative tech products. Stay updated with tech trends within AI to drive innovation. Solve complex technical problems to ensure scalability and stability of our solutions. Communicate technology strategies effectively to stakeholders and investors. Manage the technology budget efficiently. Address technical risks and ensure compliance with data security and privacy laws. What we're looking for A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a deep understanding and proficiency in this area. Previous experience in B2B (Business-to-Business) SaaS (Software as a Service) development, showcasing an ability to understand and meet the unique needs of business clients. Extensive full-stack development experience, indicating a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development processes and technologies. Prior experience in solution architecture, demonstrating the ability to design and implement complex software solutions effectively and efficiently. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and growing technical teams. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Experience developing APIs for integration into common business software stacks (eg. Jira, DevOps, etc.) Previous entrepreneurial experience or involvement in a startup environment, especially with "zero-to-one" product builds. Expertise or deep experience applying Artificial Intelligence models, including computer vision and large language models.
