Job Description Your contribution to something big: Within Bosch group, you will be part of an international project team focused on the development of fire alarm systems. Together with the engineering department, as a Technical Buyer you will support product development through awarding of new business towards suppliers. For that you will: Ensure project timelines and needs, as well as the components release and material availability until the start of production; Award components/products for new projects or transferred projects, following the BT/Purchasing supplier strategy; Ensure sample approval and component or product release; Issue initial tool order and contract of loan; Manage with suppliers that quality requirements pass and are discussed (e.G. Technical Supplier Discussion input about tolerances, process capability, machine capability, process layout, test planning, measuring capability, etc.); Hand over all technicaland commercial information to Strategic Purchasing. Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education: degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar; Experience: previous experience in technical purchasing; Know-How: knowledge of preventative quality methods, supply chain activities, logistics, project management, and negotiation methods and strategies; Work Style: methodical and analytical way of working; ability to take responsibility for own work and initiative to drive solutions implementation; ability to work in an international team environment and in a cross-functional team; Personality: proactive and solution-oriented attitude; good communication and leadership skills; Languages: excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; willingness to travel; CV in English
