Working with VASS you get the expertise and personal attention of our specialist team, with the strength and support or our international resources Position Overview: As a Technical Business System Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the technical and business teams within the organization. Your primary focus will be on understanding business needs and translating them into technical requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of software projects. Experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is essential for this role, as well as an understanding of microservices architecture and API specification.
Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for software projects. Documentation: Create detailed and clear technical documentation, including user stories, process flows, data models, and system architecture diagrams. Scrum Expertise: Act as a Scrum team member, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure that user stories are well-defined and prioritize the backlog. Microservices and API Knowledge: Understand and articulate microservices architecture principles. Work with development teams to specify and document APIs that facilitate communication between services. System Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases, test plans, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements. Communication: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication and understanding of project objectives. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Technical Business System Analyst role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proficient in Agile methodologies, with a strong emphasis on Scrum. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and experience in specifying and documenting APIs. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, IIBA) a plus.
