We're looking for a Tech Lead to join our growing Engineering team! About The Role
As a Tech Lead, you will be working to give shape to a performant, resilient and distributed platform based on Go and Laravel that will shake up the gaming space. You will form part of a cross-functional development team where the team owns and drives the continuous improvement of our products. This is a senior individual contributor role with ad hoc mentorship and guidance across the squad.
Key Responsibilities Architect and implement new backend features on a scalable, self-healing platform.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices and a collaborative development environment.Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to strategic architectural decisions.Embrace a test-driven development approach to ensure robust code quality.Craft code with performance, reliability, and maintainability as key priorities.Conduct functional requirements analysis to ensure alignment with product goals.Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to deliver seamless solutions.Track progress, issues, and requests through our project management tools for effective oversight.Oversee individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to meet team objectives.Our Ideal Profile Senior Developer/Engineer with deep hands-on technical expertise primarily within Golang.Tech Stack: Proficient in Go, with some familiarity with Laravel being beneficial.iGaming industry experience is a plus, but not essential to the role.About You You have over 6 years of experience as a backend software engineer.You are proficient in Go as a programming language; experience with gRPC is essential, and familiarity with Laravel and RoadRunner is a plus.You are familiar with DevOps practices and containerization technologies in cloud-based environments.You have experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.You have a proven track record working with high-transactional systems.You are passionate about software quality and engineering, and you strive to make a difference.You have a strong command of both spoken and written English.A degree in Information Technology or a related field is considered an advantage.
