Team Lead (Fullstack Developer)

.You'll be focused in: Developing, deploying, and maintaining automotive backend microservices based on Java Spring or Kotlin and powered by Angular; Working in the context of automotive, using DevOps principles to create, test, and deploy backend solutions as well as internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure; Contributing to tech and architecture decisions; Collaborating with yourteam and other teams on all questions around backend and tool development in an automotive environment; Defining architecture together with the team; Building an effective team by providing clear guidance about the work and attracting, managing, and developing people; Being responsible for all processes for your direct reports such as onboarding, performance management, and continuous feedback; Mentoring and engaging team members towards team goals and timelines; Supporting junior members of the team and assisting in the assessment of candidate technical skills; Nurturing a positive environment to keep people hopeful, optimistic, and intrinsically motivated, giving the team ownership and exposure; Managing relationships and expectations of the Germany team; Participating in tech unit/company projects and working groups. In order to succeed, you'll need: Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable job expertise; Proven experience managing people; Proven experience working in the implementation of software solutions in an international context; Experience with Spring Boot, Java framework, and Angular; Strong knowledge of backend development with a focus on RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration; A willingness to work in a multicultural, interdisciplinary balanced product team; Good English skills, both written and spoken; Incentive towards a feedback culture. Nice to have: Experience managing people (formal/informal) - nice to have.
