Tax Specialist (M/F/D)

Global leader in Portugal's tourism sector is looking to hire a Tax Specialist (m/f/d) for its team in Porto.  Your new role To assist and work with the Head of Tax in managing and controlling several tax matters; To analyze the taxation on the current operations of the Group's companies at national and international level; To analyze different tax files, content wise and calendar wise; To follow, advise and alert on the several tax obligations in force, in the Portuguese Tax framework; To check and validate the several tax returns submissions; Ad-hoc tax analysis on daily activities / operations; Among other tax functions. What you'll need to succeed  Degree in Taxation, Economics, Management, Law or similar; Minimum professional experience of 3/4 years in similar roles; Fluent in English both spoken and written; Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and planning; Relevant knowledge on the Portuguese Tax Legislation, namely Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Personal Income Tax (PIT) and Property Taxes; Previous experience and track record in tax dossiers/files, namely in interacting with the Portuguese Tax Authorities (PTA); Critical thinking/spirit and proactivity, keen on "out of the box" solutions What the company can offer you
