This is where strategic planning and financial management, sustainable practices and technological innovation, risk assessment, and human resources converge to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.About your future TeamYour mission will be to comply with the tax obligations of the companies owned by the Group in different jurisdictions and also to study and interpret the different tax regulations, with a view to framing and anticipating the respective impacts for the Galp Group. Within the scope of your duties, you will also be responsible for recommending tax strategies and/or structures which, in compliance with the law and Galp's code of ethics and conduct, promote the maximization of the performance of Galp Group companies.How will your day-to-day look like:Ensuring the tax compliance of companies resident in the tax jurisdictions for which you are responsible, in terms of all the tax regulations in force. This includes preparing tax estimates and tax returns; Interacting with internal clients and anticipating their needs; Recommending tax strategies in line with the Group's goals/objectives; Keeping abreast of changes in tax regulations in force in the jurisdictions for which you are responsible, providing the respective framework for the group; Preparing various reports with tax-related information; Managing service providers to support the projects for which you are responsible; Being part of multidisciplinary teams for the development of various projects, ensuring the tax function.What makes you unique:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Management, Economics, or Law; At least 6 years' professional experience in multinational companies, in the tax department or in tax consultancy; Knowledge of the different tax regulations in force in Portugal; Knowledge of transfer pricing rules and practices; Knowledge of the main EUdirectives; Expertise in tax concepts associated with M&A operations; Knowledge of SAP;Senior user of Excel, Power BI, and PPT; Good knowledge of English.Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)At Galp, we have the ambition to be a Human Centered Company, and for that we acknowledge our responsibility to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) by having a genuine mindset, lived on our day-to-day, in all our processes
