The Tax Analyst will be responsible for executing all day-to-day tax activities as per the tax checklist. This role involves performing all tax calculations, preparing returns and declarations, and filing with tax authorities.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR? Perform all tax tasks outlined in the tax calendar within strict deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Calculate tax provisions (e.g., VAT, Excise) and collaborate with Senior Tax Analyst or Lead for thorough review and approval before postings.Prepare tax returns and declarations in the prescribed formats, ensuring timely submission after review and signoff by leadership.Accurately disclose tax-related information in financial reports, aligning with internal and external compliance standards.Coordinate with Group Tax for guidance, address tax issues, and support legal queries by providing necessary inputs to tax consultants.Maintain well-organized tax documentation, comply with recordkeeping standards, and promptly identify and report potential tax risks to the Senior Tax Analyst. WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL BE REQUIRED? Education: BSc/BA (Hons) in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.Experience: 1–3 years in tax compliance, planning, and operations.Basic understanding of local and international tax laws, including transfer pricing.Familiarity with tax software; experience with SAP S/4 HANA is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to adapt to changes in tax regulations.
