We will create the future Airbag complete system and software architecture, which protects the vehicle occupants in case of an accident and at the same time provides precise inertial sensor data for autonomous driving as last ECU standing. Our Airbag system is designed to meet the highest safety and quality standards, including functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
We are part of the development team for the Airbag platform, a highly configurable system that more than 50 car makers worldwide are using. Our mission is to save lives!
Job Description Your contribution to something big: You are part of a complete new team and should drive its growth; You'll be working in the next generation Airbag platform development and actively driving customer projects as an expert; You are responsible for creating the next generation of Airbag System Architecture; You define the system design in order to specify requirements for Software, Hardware and Mechanics using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using tools such as SysML and IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody. In cooperation with customer teams and product management you monitor market and trends to derive airbag overall system requirements; You work in an international Airbag development team with locations in Europe, India, China, Japan, and USA; You define and optimize the system development processes, methods and tools; You drive and moderate interdisciplinary system development teams. Main requirements What distinguishes you: Education: You have a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering. Experience: You have a background in embedded systems or preferably systems engineering, including requirements engineering, architecture design, model-based system engineering (MBSE). Know how: You have knowledge in functional safety and/or cybersecurity. Languages: Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (German is a plus). Working Style and Methods: Y ou are a team player and have a strong sense of responsibility. Personality: you are motivated to improve by continuous learning.
