Skills, knowledge, experience required:
Experience in Microsoft computer network architecture and maintenance;
Experience working with virtualization technologies including VMWare;
Experience in creating technical documentation.
Desirable:
Experience in administering a network within the NATO enterprise;
Good technical knowledge of NATO CIS Security governance and policy for local area network and enterprise networks;
Cybersecurity training and/or certifications, such as COMPTIA Security+.
Duties/role:
Regularly updating and patching all software systems to ensure they are secure and up to date;
Implementing strong security protocols such as multi-factor authentication, access control and data encryption to protect sensitive data;
Monitoring the network for performance issues and suspicious activity and promptly respond to security threats.
