System Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and hardware maintenance, to maintain peak system performance. Server Mastery: Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and/or Linux servers, ensuring they remain secure and perform optimally. Network Wizardry: Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to guarantee uninterrupted connectivity. Implement and maintain robust security protocols, encompassing access controls, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard sensitive data. Provide advanced technical support to end-users, resolving complex hardware and software issues swiftly and effectively. Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in the face of system failures or data loss. Create and update detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing and training. Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware and software problems, network connectivity issues, and system errors with precision. Monitor system performance, predict capacity requirements, and recommend upgrades or optimizations as necessary. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Extensive hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role. Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux server administration, including command-line proficiency. Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, and network security practices. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.G., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, Azure). Strong scripting and automation skills (e.G., PowerShell, Bash, Python). Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
