Responsibilities:Support Application Development Teams:Implement service requests, assist in deployment, configure environments, and apply best practices for monitoring, logging, and managing legacy applications.Monitoring and Incident Response:Monitor and maintain the performance of applications hosted on IIS servers using tools like Splunk for logging, dashboarding, and alerting.Performance Optimization:Identify bottlenecks and optimize workloads for efficiency.Backup and Disaster Recovery:Establish and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.Patch Management:Perform maintenance tasks like patching, upgrades, and capacity planning to ensure infrastructure stability and security.Capacity Planning:Estimate future resource needs to plan for scalability.Resource Management and Automation:Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Profile sought:Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Experience:At least 5 years as a Systems Administrator or in Technical Support Operations.Technical Skills: Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (Azure preferred). Track record of designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions. Proficiency in monitoring systems (implementation of observability systems a plus). Scripting/programming skills (Python, Shell, etc.). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in production environments. Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus). Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional teams. Strong business analysis capabilities to work effectively with developers, project managers, and IT professionals.
