As an IT Security Consultant (m/f/d), you will carry out attacks on web applications, mobile apps and systems and investigate company networks for security vulnerabilities.
We, SySS GmbH, are an IT service company with a focus on IT security testing. Founded in 1998, we are now the market leader in the field of penetration testing and employ a team of around 175 people at four locations in Tübingen, Frankfurt am Main, Munich and Vienna. Our work focuses on hacking web applications and IT infrastructures of well-known customers of all sizes and industries, many of whom we have been advising for many years.
YOUR TASKS WITH US You will carry out attacks on web applications, mobile apps and systems and investigate company networks for security vulnerabilities, coordinating the course of the project independently in collaboration with our customers. You complete each project with written documentation of your security analysis for our customers. You advise our customers on how to improve their internal IT security and support them with the assessment of your test results. You will also be responsible for conducting workshops. You stay on the ball and continuously develop your professional and technical knowledge. YOUR PROFILE You have a degree in computer science, IT security, mathematics, physics or a comparable completed vocational training and already have (initial) professional experience as e.g. system administrator (m/f/d), web developer (m/f/d) or similar. You are enthusiastic about operating systems (Linux), networks and programming You are reliable and your work meets deadlines We expect you to work independently and have a high degree of customer orientation. Very good German and good English skills as well as a certain willingness to travel. WE OFFER YOU A new challenge with every project. An experienced pen tester will provide you with intensive training as part of our full-time tutor concept and will accompany you for the first 6 months with us so that you have time to get used to the SySS world. If you wish, you can use your didactic skills as a trainer for a training course or as a speaker for live hacking.
