The South West Europe Zone Demand Planner will develop zone-level demand forecasts, collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to gather inputs, and drive improvements in forecast accuracy. This role will act as a single point of contact for the zone on all demand planning inputs and ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop zone-level demand forecasts for instruments, reagents, and consumables. Drive improvements in forecast accuracy. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to gather inputs and validate customer demand. Work with distributors and customers as needed. Gather market intelligence and customer insights from sales and marketing teams. Assess the impact of market changes or forecast variances and recommend revisions. Monitor relevant KPIs, comparing actual shipment vs. country inputs. Prepare and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators, demand forecasts, and inventory levels. Act as a single point of contact for the zone on all demand planning inputs. Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams to align on demand planning strategies. Drive process improvements within the demand planning function. Proactively identify opportunities for enhancement and best practices. Ensure process steps and tool utilization are executed across the zone, leveraging appropriate tools for inputs (e.G., Kinaxis, CRM tools). Facilitate and enable decision-making for Zone Business Lead and Zone Finance Lead on forecasting topics. Assess business exposures and potential risk scenarios. Provide consulting for demand planning insights to stakeholders. Help articulate and communicate demand uncertainties and risks. Develop options for optimizing inventory, replenishment, and demand plans to supply planning. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related field. Proven minimum of 8+ years of experience in demand planning in multi-national companies, preferably from the Healthcare industry. Expertise in statistical forecasting methods and advanced analytics. Extensive experience with demand planning software (e.G., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and data analysis tools (e.G., Excel, Tableau). Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple regions and teams. Track record in project management and problem solving.
