We're looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to strengthen relationships with our suppliers by delivering consistent excellent service. Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL DO Validate relevant invoice fields (date, currency, due date, vendor name, credit terms, etc.) Process supplier invoices through AP system on a daily basis for various offices Code invoices to correct cost account based on description and chart of accounts Keep constant communication with Operations and Administrative areas for invoice approval and queries Generate pay proposals in different currencies, bank platforms, and payment methods Perform bank account postings in finance system for transactions in various currencies Review supplier statements and provide remittance details Comply with department KPI's Ensure internal and external controls are met Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL NEED University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in Finance or Accounting area Efficient and accurate data entry skills including data verification in the system Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines (due dates) Detail-oriented with a high level of concentration and process compliance Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Fast learner and self-motivated team player Proactive with a sense of urgency and prioritization Experience in General Ledger coding of expenses is a plus ABOUT US Wallenius Wilhelmsen is an iconic shipping and logistics company with premium end-to-end supply chain management.
