About the Role
The Sustainability Program Delivery Lead will support the Head of S&PD Sustainability in overseeing and coordinating cross-functional sustainability initiatives within the company. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that progress is maintained and sustainability goals are met. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about sustainability and is committed to driving positive environmental and social impact.
Your day-to-day

Support the Head of S&PD Sustainability in conducting exercises to optimize project planning, prioritization, and ensure projects are aligned to business objectives, manage resources, and enhance project management capabilities while linking execution to strategy.
Help ensure alignment exists among functions and improve ways of working that can promote the success of sustainability initiatives, programs, KPI reporting, engagement, and related communications.
Support in the organization of ad-hoc cross-functional working groups to ensure productive and constructive collaboration on sustainability-related topics.
Work closely with the Sustainability Reporting Team and Sustainability External Engagement team to reflect new developments, ongoing programs, and initiatives on project planning and program delivery.
Lead continuous improvement efforts, ensuring adherence to PMI standards and compliance, lead time and total cost reduction, and efficiency.
Assist in organizing and hosting quarterly Sustainability Group meetings.

What we're looking for:

Degree in Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a corporate environment with good knowledge of PMI organization and ways of working.
Strong understanding of corporate sustainability and PMI's sustainability strategy.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills while dealing with ambiguity.
Agility and ability to work with different functions and business units.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Portugal.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field.
Good understanding of PMI ways of working.
Experience in project management / cross-functional project management.
