As a CBRE Energy & Sustainability Analyst, you will drive the development of basic programs to help measure and improve sustainability performance, with a focus on Energy Management programs across the real-estate portfolio in EMEA.
This job is a part of the Energy and Sustainability functional area which focuses on the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.
Responsibilities
Review data and interpretation of sustainability reports to identify opportunities for new programs and improvements in current programs.
Actively suggest improvements through the identification and implementation of energy efficiency opportunities across an international real-estate portfolio considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, technical feasibility, and facility integration.
Partner with facility managers and other relevant stakeholders to deliver energy efficiency opportunities and environmental sustainability advice.
Generate variance reports from collected energy, waste, and water data to communicate performance at various client sites.
Track sustainability indicators, such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation, and recycling.
Support data improvement plans and support development and implementation of M&V plans.
Build and maintain knowledge of current legal and market changes relating to compliance on energy, carbon and sustainability in general.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Desirable Candidate
Bachelor's Degree preferred (BA/BS) from a four-year College or university in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or similar. Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training. Preference for Master's in Environmental Science, Sustainability or related discipline.
In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
Organizational and Program Management skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
Working experience in supporting and managing energy and carbon legislation in the UK and EU.
Working knowledge of building certifications i.e. LEED, BREEAM, NABERS, WELL, TRUE ZERO WASTE, Green Star, Energy Star, etc. (desirable).
