You will be responsible to:Evaluate and assess the allocated resources (human resources, materials, and processes) to ensure alignment with the established plan;Proactively identify and monitor potential challenges related to scheduling, planning, and data management, implementing measures to mitigate associated risks;Oversee supply plans to detect changes and assess their impact on material requirements schedules;Collaborate with purchasing, planning, manufacturing operations, logistics/warehousing, and commercial teams to develop and maintain material planning assumptions;Engage with procurement and suppliers to establish service-level agreements that align lead times and minimum order quantities;Provide reports on back orders, stock shortages, excess inventory, and slow-moving items to relevant stakeholders;Enhance and refine material planning systems and reporting mechanisms;Analyze supplier performance and inventory levels to identify opportunities for increasing inventory turnover, reducing waste, and optimizing customer service;Identify potential future capacity constraints and bottlenecks within the supply chain.We are looking to recruit a Candidate:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline;Demonstrated experience in operations planning within a GMP-compliant environment;Background in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in production, process development, or the chemical sector;Comprehension of material requirements scheduling and planning principles;Proficiency in utilizing material planning systems;Fluency in English;Capability to operate within the SAP management system;Familiarity with planning tools such as Microsoft Project, SchedulePro or Excel, for example.Hovione is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer Inclusion and diversity are key to us.
