POSITION SUMMARY The Nespresso story began with a simple but revolutionary idea: enable anyone to create the perfect cup of espresso coffee. Since 1986, Nespresso has redefined and revolutionized the way millions of people enjoy their espresso coffee. We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the Supply Chain Excellence service within the market, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service aligned with local customer expectations and Nespresso's international standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities: Oversee contract management with external suppliers to secure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that meet or exceed customer expectations, ensuring a delightful consumer experience.Drive the development and implementation of innovative and sustainable operational solutions that deliver a distinct competitive advantage for Nespresso and its customers.Ensure the availability of products and services to optimize customer satisfaction and maximize product accessibility.Establish and maintain effective, efficient Supply Chain procedures that guarantee data quality and integrity, with a focus on customer service excellence and reliable stock level information.Act in compliance with Nespresso's Quality, Food Safety, and Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) systems, while adhering to all legal, internal, and regulatory requirements applicable to Nestlé Portugal Unipessoal Lda, Nespresso Division.Ensure all operational tasks are executed according to Nespresso guidelines, aligning strategy and priorities with the CCS Manager to support commercial objectives in the market.Oversee and ensure accurate and timely reporting to HQ, meeting all required standards and deadlines.Foster seamless collaboration across internal teams (Customer Service, Transport, Distribution Centers, Factories, HQ) and 3PL providers, ensuring prompt resolution of urgencies or operational issues.Establish and maintain an effective escalation process and implement robust conflict management strategies.Promote continuous improvement and best practice initiatives through Nespresso Continuous Excellence (NCE) tools and methodologies.Maintain and regularly test the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to guarantee operational resilience in logistics.Monitor and optimize the budget, ensuring accuracy and achieving cost efficiency for FDE/VDE (Fixed and Variable Distribution Expenses).Develop and execute a comprehensive Supply and Demand Plan by leveraging best practices, improving processes, and analyzing sales history and forecast data.Coordinate with B2C, B2B, and Marketing to ensure all launch or phase-out information is accurately reflected in the supply and demand planning process.Implement and monitor the outcomes of the Monthly Business Planning (MBP) process to achieve aligned business objectives.Lead SKU reduction initiatives to streamline inventory management and improve operational efficiency.Define and implement a delivery services strategy from an omni-channel perspective, in collaboration with Marketing and the Services Champion, to achieve an optimal distribution network within the market.Align the strategy with Nespresso's global objectives and the CCS Manager's priorities, fostering innovation and a customer-centric approach.WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL At least 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain.Has worked/ been exposed to collaborative business development projects (Lean; Retailer; Distributors; Warehouses, DSP).Experience in a distant sales company is valued.Experience of having worked in a similar capacity with an International Company would be an advantage (logistics, distribution).Experience with Express Delivery Operations.Experience with implementation of LEAN tools as enablers.Proven competence in Project Management.
