Business Unit Controlling as wellas central controlling functions) and management Task Description: Central controlling of the global supply chain network and related logistics costs as well as controlling support for Manufacturing Plants (located in Portugal, China, Mexico and Germany) Reporting of overall logistics costs (by region and in consolidated view).
Validation and analyses of costs and results, underlying drivers and KPIs for the supply chain and of the MPs to various stakeholders.
Coordination and pro-active steering of other main controlling processes, esp.
regular Forecasts and Budgeting with Regional Logistics Controllers and the Manufacturing Plants.
Support in year-end closing activities Reparation, maintenance and improvements of regular reports & dashboards.
As needed, conducting data analyses and simulations on freight costs and duty costs Governance over global logistics and MP controlling processes and continous improvement of related processes (harmonization, efficiency, transparency).
Setting up and tracking of improvement initiatives and measures Various analyses, participation in projects, support for special inquiries and decision-making Qualifications Master or bachelor degree with focus on Controlling, Logistics and/or Data Science, preferably additionally Finance/Accounting Experience in logistics Very good English skills Able to work independently (target-oriented, self-driven, pro-active by nature, highly motivated to drive business forward) Team-player and able to collaborate with various stakeholders across different entities Well structured and analytical way of working, Able to work with mass data EXCEL expert knowledge important, preferable experience in reporting (e.g.
BW, PowerBI, Think-Cell, Planning Analytics) Preferably experienced with SAP and related systems (e.g.
