What the job looks like:
Oversight about the Global Supplier Network of CMOs, API, Excipients, Key Starting Materials, MD, Contract Laboratories, Packaging suppliers and GMP relevant service providers;
Set, deploy and maintain the Supplier Quality Strategy & Governance framework of ESQ;
Maintain a risk based/cost efficient strategic audit management program. Planning, scheduling, budgeting and following audit execution and reporting;
Overall responsibility of Supplier Performance Management Programs. Gain quality oversight by monitoring, reporting and escalating supplier performance results and assessing supplier compliance risk;
Development, implementation and management of a Supplier Development, Intelligence and Communication Program;
Standardization and further development of processes and policies regarding supplier quality management activities. Ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations and procedures;
Ensures that suppliers continue to develop and implement best practices that emphasize prevention and provide continuous improvements to meet quality standards;
Participation in cross-functional supplier relationship management initiatives and forums;
Plan, prepare and conduct external suppliers on-site, remote and postal audits for ensuring consistent high quality of the pharmaceutical goods and services to be purchased;
Strategic pharma industry oversight in order to maintain and incorporate best in class supplier quality management practices.
What you'll bring to the table:
At least 5 years broad experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device Industry. The operational experience should include QA/QC, production or other relevant experience in a pharmaceutical environment;
University degree, preferably in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Engineering and have gained experience in at least 2 of the following topics: Non-Sterile APIs – Excipients – Non-sterile Finished Drug Forms – Contract packaging organisations - Chemical substances - Medical Devices – Packaging Materials – Warehouses – Services;
Project Management skills and a well-structured approach of organizing processes;
Speak and write fluent English;
Proven experience in Operational Excellence initiatives (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferably);
Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, communication, negotiation and persuasion, used in obtaining cooperation and consensus with stakeholders and suppliers;
Excellent quality, compliance, leadership, decision making and facilitation skills;
Willingness to travel approx. 40% of the time.
