.The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) works as a direct interface and key contact towards TE's Supply Base. Responsible for continuous Quality Performance improvements, ensures that Suppliers fulfill ISO9001 and IATF 16949 as well as TE specific requirements.The SQE will act as ASQ (Advanced Supplier Quality) and manage the Supplier APQP process, starting from supplier Technical & Feasibility review to Supplier PPAP Approval, followed by the Supplier Safe Launch process. Holds main interface/key contact with the supplier base during pre-serial stages.The SQE will act as SDE (Supplier Development Engineer) and is the owner of the Supplier Development Program and Supplier Onboarding process for Quality topics. SQE is an expert to suppliers in QMS (ISO 9001/IATF16949), LEAN Tools, Problem Solving Tools, and TE System. SQE will support Procurement in Supplier Cost Improvement Workshops.SQE ensures proper communication and supports cross-functional activities at our external suppliers.Tasks and Responsibilities:Quality Key Contact and Account owner for assigned suppliers/commodities.Define and track Performance Agreements.Define Supplier Improvement Plans, Supplier Escalation Process (e.G., Focus Supplier Programs, etc.).Organize and Perform Suppliers Scorecard Reviews, Business Reviews, Complaint reviews, and other management reviews.Supports IQE (Incoming Quality Engineer):with Escalation on Complaint Handling.with Charge Back process.Lead Audits at suppliers per the Supplier Audit Plan.Supports Supplier Selection and Approval Business Process.Perform Potential Analysis at new suppliers.Training Experts and owner of Supplier Onboarding Process for Quality.Verifies CQI certifications and supports suppliers for System Development according to IATF.Supports Supplier Cost related Improvement Workshops in collaboration with Procurement.Supports the APQP Process with assigned suppliers/commodities.Involved in sourcing decisions and participate in sourcing meetings.Performs Technical and Feasibility review.Supports the PPAP process with Suppliers.Responsible for Safe launch definition and tracking at Suppliers.Defines Quality Inspection Plan Criteria for incoming inspection along with IQE.Responsible for Run @ Rate events at suppliers.Responsible for the Complaint Handling / Problem Solving (8D's) / Chargeback process until exiting Safe Launch period.What your background should look like:Fluent in English and French.Expert Knowledge on ISO900, VDA 6.3., IATF16949, ISO 14000, and other Automotive Standards is a plus.Certified (supplier) auditor or VDA 6.3 / IATF 16949 2nd party auditor.Working Knowledge on specific product and process as required (e.G., Molding, Stamping, etc.).Familiar with the tools related to supplier APQP process, including but not limited to APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, R@R, and 8D.Ability to work across cultures and countries effectively
