Supervisor

The role of the Security Supervisor involves:Assisting with supervising the day-to-day security force of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel, and property.Leading the performance of Security staff and implementing all policies and procedures regarding security and safety.Preventing situations that could jeopardize the reputation of the hotel.Assisting with investigations in the hotel and documenting all incidents occurring in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities, and insurance requirements while remaining objective and writing comprehensive reports.Assisting hotel staff in handling unusual guest or employee problems, such as disorderly conduct, thefts, suicides, bomb threats, employee or guest accidents, fire or safety hazards, robberies, terrorist activities, civil disturbances, power or elevator failures, medical assistance, and natural disasters.Selecting, training, and directing security personnel in all aspects of security policies and procedures.Remaining informed of current local laws and regulations as they relate to the hotel, particularly regarding guest, patron, and employee rights.Taking an active role in the development and implementation of the hotel's fire plan and testing the hotel Fire and Emergency Response preparedness.Controlling the key, lock system, alarm system, and fire protection system.Responding properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
