Summer Bootcamp – Business Operations

Brief description of the team Synopsys is one of the key players in the chip design industry worldwide, partnering closely with semiconductor and systems customers across a wide range of industries to deliver on tomorrow's innovations, from driverless cars to data centers and AI chips.
During this internship, you will be working with the Solutions Group Business Operations team which has as its main goals:
To deliver information for decision making that optimizes profit.
Build the infrastructure to double the business every 3-4 year.
The SG Business Operations Group is a group of about 20 people spread across the US, Canada, Portugal and India with about 10 people in the Lisbon office, which will enable many moments opportunities to learn more about Synopsys business outside the internship tasks.
Project Planning/Tasks To understand and explore uncorrelated datasets to make the relevant connections between them.
Develop the necessary metrics and calculations as per requirements.
Develop a PowerBI visualization tool that will allow the users to capture and easily understand valuable insights to help the decision-making process.
Main Goals Develop 1 or more PowerBI reports to support the decision-making process and extract valuable information from unstructured and uncorrelated datasets.
Main Skills to Develop During this internship you will have the chance to learn and develop basic Excel data analysis skills, explore and develop DAX language and build your own PowerBI visualization skills and tools.
Duration 8 weeks (July 8 to August 30)
Requirements Minimum Requirements: Attendance in a master's degree in engineering or business management.
Soft Skills for Success:
Analytical and curious mindset with the mindset to learn by yourself and ask questions when needed
Good communication skill in English
