Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
As a Strategic Buyer for Real Estate / FCM, you are responsible for the analysis of the category to be managed as well as the development and definition, and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the relevant internal business partners.
You are responsible for coordinating all purchasing topics for real estate and facility management topics to secure, together with a team of facility and property managers, the availability and proper functioning of infrastructure and real estate.
You will have responsibility in your category over the commercial aspects of supplier management such as preparing and conducting tenders, price negotiations, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
Global coordination in the assigned category/material fields is also part of your responsibilities.
You will be responsible for providing strategic support towards the regional purchasing teams to ensure strategy consistency.
Primary responsibility for energy contracts, FCM suppliers, above a pre-defined value limit.
You will work closely with the indirect purchasing team.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education: For this position, we are looking for a person with a degree in business administration, industrial engineering/facility management, or a comparable field of study.
Experience and know-how: 5+ years of professional experience in real estate purchasing as well as experience in supplier strategy. Proven track record in achieving objectives and stakeholder management.
Personality and working method: You enjoy working in an international virtual team, are responsible and conscientious. You have a strong customer and service orientation as well as good communication skills. Furthermore, you have good time management and coordination skills.
Language: You are fluent in written and spoken English. Further language skills in addition to the local language are a plus.
