Job Description
Your contribution to something big: Strategic Buyer / Category Manager Indirect Purchasing (FCM Services, MAE, and MRO)
You will be responsible for the analysis of the category to be managed as well as the development, definition, and implementation of the material field strategy in cooperation with the relevant internal business partners.
You will have responsibility in your category over the commercial aspects of supplier management such as preparing and conducting tenders, price negotiations, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
Global coordination in the assigned category/material fields is also part of your responsibilities.
You will be responsible for providing strategic support towards the regional purchasing teams to ensure strategy consistency.
Primary responsibility for FCM Services, MAE, and MRO above a pre-defined value limit.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or similar.
Personality: Passionate, flexible, and performance-oriented with a high level of resilience and assertiveness. Strong team player with a preference for working in international teams.
Working Practice: Self-motivated, structured, and bring an entrepreneurial mindset. You have a high affinity for cross-departmental cooperation and international business.
Experience and Knowledge: 5+ years of professional experience in indirect purchasing as well as experience in material field and supplier strategy. Proven track record in achieving objectives and stakeholder management.
Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and English.
