Chennai city Centre is easily accessible to guests via the highway.Job DescriptionJob PurposeThis position is responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager in the day-to-day purchasing functions. The Stores & Receiving Associate processes purchase indents and organizes system for follow up of pending supplies. He/she facilitates and administers purchase in the absence of the Purchase Manager after due approval has been obtained.Reporting Lines to Purchase ManagerPrimary Responsibilities Purchasing AdministrationExpedite the delivery of purchase ordersAssist in preparing requests for quotationsObtain competitive pricing (at least 3 Bids) for specifications as directedPrepare budget shells from designer specificationsPrepare reports such as bid summariesClose project files and maintain project storage logMaintain disclaimers, credit applications and vendor informationAble to maintain Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standard at all levels, from sourcing of products to storageOther ResponsibilitiesBe aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresAttend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by managementMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the ManagementQualificationsKnowledge and ExperienceDiploma educationMinimum 2 years of experience in an office administrative role or 1 year of experience in a similar capacityExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageProficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPointAdditional InformationCompetenciesGood communication skillsService oriented with an eye for detailsAbility to work effectively and contribute in a teamSelf-motivated and energeticWell-presented and professionally groomed at all times#J-18808-Ljbffr
