All of us at GrandVision Portugal are united by our passion for visual health.For our offices in Rossio, Lisbon, we are looking for a Stock Control and Retail Operations Analyst.Key responsibilities:Inventory management:Oversee inventory schedule and stock standards in all stores, both remotely and on-site.Creation of stock variance reports.Maintain consistency between physical inventory and system/paper flow.Manage returns of obsolete collections and write-offs.Master and implement inventory control procedures, leveraging on SAP and other firm-specific tools, and conduct regular stock counts.Coordinate with supply chain and planning departments to ensure timely delivery of goods, consistently with the store planograms and the commercial initiatives.Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.Data analysis and reporting:Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the flows, channels and systems used by the stores to place customer orders.Analyze and challenge reports on supply chain and planning performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, cost savings.Monitor supply chain service level KPIs to the stores and initiate necessary adjustments to meet business targets.Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities to streamline processes.Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement and new department implementation initiatives.Stores support via the resolution of stores incidents related to the perimeter of responsibility.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance store performance.Requirements:Degree and/or Master in Economics, Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration;3-5 years of experience in supply chain, planning, controlling, or related roles, preferably within the retail industry;High level of English and Portuguese, excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Spanish as a highly desirable plus;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g. SAP);Knowledge of basic accounting principles: understanding of how inventory movements impact financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow Statements;Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment;Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency;Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.If you have the right profile and would like to take on a new project that will challenge you on a daily basis, send us your CV.
