You're interested to work as an industrial mechanic as part of a team for maintenance and repair work within field operation on customer sites. You have a good understanding of power plant activities and knowledge and experience about carrying out repairs on steam turbines. As a specialist for die auxiliary system you are responsible for the overhaul and maintenance of steam valves and actuators. You are interested to travel 100% all over the world.
How You'll Make An Impact (responsibilities)
Be part of a team for maintenance and repair work in a power plant.
Take ownership of your work: Dismantling, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of steam-fed valves and valve actuators.
Read and understand technical drawings.
Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
Troubleshoot, record, and log values.
Able to work safely and familiar with risk management.
What You Bring (requirements)
Previous experience working as an industrial mechanical apprentice or equivalent.
Preferably practical work experience in plant engineering or power plant technology.
Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
High attention to detail and ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
Experience in working with cranes and lifting tools.
Willingness to travel 100%.
Interest in different cultures and adaptability to various climatic conditions.
Experience working in an international team as a great teammate.
Motivation and self-awareness to lead and instruct our own and local personnel.
English language skills and a valid driver's license.
Good digital literacy.
