The Staff Test Automation Engineer would be an active member within the Software Quality Engineering Organization and directly in Test Automation Group (TAG) Continuous Integration (CI) team, responsible for providing automation and test support for the SW releases of Five9. Responsibilities: Automated smoke, component, functional, integration, call load, spike and performance regression testing. Test environment (pre-production) support and extending of framework (Python based). Support and new internal tools development for automation testing. Test schedule plan creation, organization of results investigation and supporting in TAG. Test result analysis for executed tests and issues investigation using TAG framework logs, product logs on different code branches and for different product components, monitoring tools. Configuration and using of Monitoring Systems (Logic Monitor, Grafana are preferable). Reporting about different types of testing by TAG to upper management. Communication and cooperation with other company's teams and departments. Collaborate and work in sync with co-workers in headquarters office (California), business trips to USA are possible. Required skills: Excellent team player with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Practical knowledge of software development process and software testing methodologies. Experienced user of UNIX/Linux OS-s. Practical knowledge of programming techniques and algorithms (OOP is preferable). Good understanding of CI/CD processes and practical background with tools (Ansible, Puppet, Docker). Strong interpersonal, reliable and communication skills. Experience with DBMS (MySQL is desirable). Good knowledge of VoIP, SIP, WebRTC. Experience with network issue troubleshooting (understanding of basic network principles, i.E. OSI model, real time protocols, network management protocols). Desired skills: 4+ years' experience in Test Automation projects. Pro-activity in investigation of new opportunities for automation / key role in completed Test Automation projects. Hands-on experience with Python 3x and/or Java. Practical Experience with Monitoring Systems (Logic Monitor and Grafana are preferable). Experience with IAAS (VMware ESXi, OpenStack). Hands-on experience using Asterisk or FreeSwitch PBX. Experience in REST API automation and/or SDK type of interfaces (Java, Python C++). Hands-on experience with Bash scripting. Experience in Test Automation projects for cloud computing solutions
