You will lead the design strategy working closely with product managers and engineering partners to build the tools that enable Tock customers to maximize revenue and provide exceptional experiences for their guests.You will report to the Product Design Manager of the Customers team and your workplace type may be hybrid or remote. RESPONSIBILITIES Be the go-to design expert for all matters related to inventory management, pricing, and business settings. Identify new, large opportunity areas through proactive discovery, research, and collaboration. Create rational, articulable, elegant solutions to complex problems. Contribute to OKRs, product strategy, vision, and roadmap by working closely with Product and Engineering partners in a triad model. Build influence with Tock's leadership to guide product strategy. You'll have the ability to work from discovery and concept through detailed design and delivery. Collaborate with up-stream and down-stream product teams to ensure a consistent user journey. Be data-driven and have an interest in measuring and improving the experience. Facilitate user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency. QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of relevant design experience. Be able to turn large amounts of customer feedback and insights into simple design and user experience tasks. Ability to prototype large product concepts as well as detailed micro-interactions. An expert at using a systems approach to design. Experience leading the creation and execution of a research plan. Proven ability to put yourself in the customer's shoes and come up with ideas that are relevant and enticing.
