Job Description
The collaborator in charge of performance testing is responsible for technical testing of deliveries from BPCE-SI & MENIGA to the production platform.
He is a part of the service level agreement & continuity of service of the application.
To achieve this goal:
He is fully integrated into the agile scrum of the project (Homologation Team one Pizza Team) and reports the activities of the team through JIRA Project, tickets, and sprints.
As he is integrated into the main meetings of the project, he can understand and handle the technical impact of each functional change and execute technical tests.
He is one of the principal actors of the evolutions of the product, addressing both anomalies opened and change requests to improve the performance, exploitability, and security of the product.
To measure the activities and performance of the team, there are main measure points:
Performance:
Number of tickets opened on each service desk (Meniga & BPCE-SI), including anomalies or change requests.
Number of issues detected in production with a technical cause (high CPU usage, high memory usage, low response time for APIs, low response time to insert a transaction, etc.).
Activities:
Number of technical stories opened and closed (tickets in the Backlog) (Scrum).
Our authentication platform is used 24/7/365 by the clients of 30 banks, representing more than 12 million active clients.
Meniga's solution editor is MENIGA (Island, Poland, UK).
Under the guidance of an integration manager, the mission is to carry out technical tests of the changes entrusted to the team before they are put into production.
The activities of the integrator are:
Learn about the change and its technical context.
Complete the proposed test plan.
Prepare test infrastructures.
Perform technical tests on distributed servers.
Conduct tests in performance tools (Neoload, JMeter, Loadrunner, etc.).
Analyze the results (S.O. consumption, IIS logs validation, etc.).
Contribute to the diagnosis in case of dysfunction.
Write detailed reports that will assist in GO/NOGO's decision to go live.
Contribute to continuous improvement, particularly in the testing activity.
Industrialize testing via ICPs.
Each recurring test or major feature must be automated.
Missions:
For all or part of a project or program:
Carries out and ensures the production and quality of all deliverables relating to the technical tests of the project.
Contributes to the deployment of the project in production by enlightening the project on technical risks, aiming for production and secure operation.
Guarantees the best quality-cost-time match of the technical test phases.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
Qualifications and Hard Skills:
At least 2 years of experience with performance testing tools (Neoload, JMeter, or Loadrunner).
Good knowledge of ELK / Grafana to use and create dashboards.
General knowledge of Zabbix, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, DataDog.
General knowledge of CI/CD tools (GIT, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
Good knowledge of Unix and Windows systems.
Good knowledge in application logs analysis.
Soft Skills:
Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory).
Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in a team.
