We are seeking a skilled SRE to scale and optimise our infrastructure, integrate SRE best practices to accelerate time to market, and ensure reliable, scalable, and secure operations.
Experience & Domain Knowledge: Expertise in design, implementation, and maintenance of highly available, scalable systems.Expertise in automation deployments, infrastructure provisioning and reducing toil.Proficiency in implementing monitoring and alerting systems to ensure service availability and performance.Handling incidents, troubleshooting root cause analysis, and implementing remediation measures.Planning for scalability and capacity needs, optimising resource utilisation, and improving system performance.Ensuring systems meet security standards and compliance requirements, mitigating risks and vulnerabilities.Participate in on-call rotations ensuring system availability.Collaboration and participation in the product life cycle, working closely with our product and development teams to integrate SRE best practices in a fast-paced environment to ensure alignment with business goals.Strong sense of ownership for systems and service reliability.Technical skills: 3+ years in an SRE or related role in a high-availability environment.Advanced understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP or Azure), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.Experience with Linux, including server setup, package deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and security.Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs).Advanced knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, Bash) and experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, PagerDuty and ELK Stack for monitoring and observability.Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and the importance of building APIs and self-service tools for development teams.Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR).Soft skills: Communication: Effective communication skills, especially with teams responsible for security, operations and product.Analytical thinking: Ability to tackle and investigate complicated problems and convert it to the task.Adaptability to Rapid Changes: Demonstrated capability to adjust to quick technological shifts and evolving business requirements.Ownership and Accountability: Readiness to take ownership of tasks, issues as well as demonstrate accountability of the results and outcome.Nice to have: Familiarity with fintech regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).Experience in the Financial Technology sector.What you will get in return: Competitive Salary: We believe great work deserves great pay!
