The candidate main responsibility is to review and assess the control environment in various areas of Standex businesses including accounting, finance, IT and operations. The candidate is also responsible to collaborate with management on the development of action plans to eliminate control weakness identified. Individual must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Support the annual risk assessment process and preparation of annual audit planLead audit engagements and projects to ensure timely completion of the audit planObtain an understanding of the business processes and control environment to develop engagement's risk assessments, scoping and testing proceduresResponsible for fieldwork execution, including documentation review, substantive testing and preparation of working papers that are accurate, complete and well-documentedIdentify, document and communicate audit findings, and collaborate with management to develop appropriate action plans. Track and report on status of corrective actions to senior managementSupport Standex's operational initiatives by ensuing key risk areas are identified and provide inputs to senior management for opportunities for improvements and collaborate with management to improve Company Policies and ProceduresSupport execution of the enterprise risk management program and ESG AuditsPerforms additional duties and other projects as assignedWhat You'll BringAcademic Degree in Accounting, Management or Similar"Contabilista Certificado", "Revisor de Contas", CPA, CIA, CISA or CFE certification /or in process of being obtained;Minimum 3-5 years audit experience including financial, operations, corporate processes, IT and/or Sarbanes OxleyAbility for limited travel, including InternationalWhat We ValueExposure to multinational environment and /or manufacturing experience;Valued experienced working knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes –Oxley, IFRS, ASC 606 and ASC 842;Proficient skill in MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, ACL analyticsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including effective interviewing skillsAccuracy and attention to detail with the ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions#J-18808-Ljbffr
