The Product Operations Team seeks a talented Senior Data Operations Specialist to accelerate our Product Operations data flows definition, implementation, and compliance.
Main Responsibilities: Define, implement, and maintain Product Operations data structures and data pipelines.Identify opportunities of improvement in existing SQL databases for performance and scalability.Define, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of applications.Document processes, system architectures and workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.Work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.Collect up-to-date best-practices and new methodologies applicable to data related topics (modeling, governance, security, etc).Key Requirements: MSc degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or other related.Proficiency with SQL is mandatory.Demonstrable experience in database management, including performance tuning and optimization.Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools such as Bash, Python, PowerShell.Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory and ETL processes.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, both to internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to craft actionable messaging to peers.Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills. Willingness to manage and coordinate stakeholders across a global organization.Passion for new problem solving and team cooperation to yield new ideas and proposals, with peers who challenge you to be better.The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals. And the ability to deal with and thrive on objections.Preferred Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in data modeling and data warehousing platforms.Focus on delivering state-of-the-art data solutions always following up-to-date best practices.Work experience in a multicultural environment/international company is a plus.Previous experience in Consulting role(s) is also a plus.
