Sr. Backend Engineer (m/f/d)
As a Sr. Backend Engineer within our Engineering team at Moonfare, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining microservices and will design scalable backend solutions with a focus on security best practices and seamless integration across various teams.
You will:
Build and maintain Microservices that will help drive growth at Moonfare
Ensure security best practices are followed in the design and implementation of services
Work closely with Frontend, DevOps and Product teams
Provide guidance to Jr. Engineers and promote knowledge-sharing within the team
Take ownership of writing high-quality, well-tested code that ensures the reliability and performance of our services, helping to streamline operations and improve efficiency across the organisation
The next Moonfarian:
6+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer
Exceptional experience working within a microservice-based architecture
Fluency in Typescript
Is independent and has excellent experience with AWS
Is adaptable and has excellent experience with GitHub actions, CI/CD
Ideally has experience with Kubernetes
Excellent experience with Relational Databases/Redis
Experience with logging, monitoring tools (e.g., Newrelic, Grafana), and debugging large distributed systems
Is a go-getter and proactively finds innovative solutions to complex problems
Has an obsession with writing clean code and a testing mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to lead team meetings
